CCAV: Advancing safely to full vehicle automation

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £1.5 million for up to three automated vehicle projects. This funding is from the Department for Transport (DfT) and the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV).

The aim of this competition is to continue development of technologies and assurance processes to enable safe use of fully automated vehicles.

Funding is offered for the development of technologies applicable to either passenger services, freight services or both, intended for future deployment on public roads.

Award – Up to £1.5million for up to three automated vehicle projects. Your project’s total eligible costs must be between £25,000 and £1million.

Innovate UK Smart Grants: May 2021

Opportunity for UK registered organisations to apply for a share of up to £25 million from Innovate UK to deliver game-changing and commercially viable R&D innovation that can significantly impact the UK economy.

Award – Projects of 6 – 18 months must have total eligible project costs between £25,000 and £500,000 and can be single or collaborative. Projects of 19 – 36 months must have total eligible project costs between £25,000 and £2 million and must be collaborative.

Horizon Europe

The UK government has announced that the UK will continue to associate with Horizon Europe, the EU research and innovation programme that will run from 2021 to 2027.

Association will give UK scientists, researchers and businesses access to funding under the programme on equivalent terms as organisations in EU countries.

Researchers, businesses, and innovators in the UK and worldwide can therefore continue to work together in establishing global consortia to bid for funding.

UK researchers and innovators can apply to Horizon Europe funding and tender opportunities now.
