Hill Start Assistance

System which helps driver balance engagement of power with any negative forces affecting the vehicle, moving from parked or stopped at a junction up an incline.

Sensors in the vehicle are used to detect when a vehicle is on an incline and maintain the brake pressure for a set period of time as you switch from the brakes to the accelerator.

Once you press the accelerator, the system releases the brake.

In cars with manual transmission, the hill start assist will also maintain brake pressure until the driver releases the clutch.
