Velodyne’s Puck LITE (VLP-16 LITE) is the lightest sensor in its 3D LiDAR product range. It is identical to the Puck (VLP-16) in everything but weight, weighing just 590g compared to 830g. Its compact footprint and low weight make it suited to UAV and mobile applications.

Velodyne’s* 3D real-time LiDAR Puck LITE (VLP-16 LITE) has a 100m range, low power consumption, compact footprint and dual return capability. It supports 16 channels, has no visible rotating parts and is resilient in challenging environments. Puck LITE (VLP-16 LITE) is Velodyne’s lightest sensor, with Class 1 eye-safe 905 nm technology.

Can we buy a Velodyne Lidar from you if we don’t have a Kaarta product? 

No, please contact your local Velodyne distributor.

Will my Kaarta product work with Velodyne Lidars not purchased from Level Five? 

Yes, however, we add a second layer of quality control to ensure units are operating consistently and offer the best quality results with Kaarta software. Only Kaarta distributors are able to do this, although we’re happy to help you run your own quality checks if you have other Velodyne Lidar sensors.
