{"id":58638,"date":"2020-12-18T11:20:22","date_gmt":"2020-12-18T11:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/levelfivesupplies.com\/?p=58638"},"modified":"2021-11-12T14:23:10","modified_gmt":"2021-11-12T14:23:10","slug":"level-five-supplies-joins-mk5g-accelerator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/levelfivesupplies.com\/level-five-supplies-joins-mk5g-accelerator\/","title":{"rendered":"Level Five Supplies Joins MK:5G Accelerator"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<p>Innovative start-ups and SMEs addressing challenges relating to mobility, health and wellbeing, and data are among a new cohort of businesses to have joined the ground-breaking&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cp.catapult.org.uk\/opportunities\/mk5g-connecting-communities\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MK:5G Accelerator<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<p>The MK:5G Accelerator is a programme in partnership with the wider MK:5G project, funded by its collaborating partners and&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.semlep.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership<\/a>&nbsp;(SEMLEP) via its Local Growth Fund programme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Four key innovation challenges<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<p>Delivered by&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cp.catapult.org.uk\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Connected Places Catapult<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/truealtitude.co.uk\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">True Altitude<\/a>, MK:5G Accelerator is designed to find innovative start-ups and focused around four key innovation challenges:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<p><strong>Mobility Data<\/strong>&nbsp;&ndash; Leverage real-time data and advanced analytics to increase efficiency and resilience of the transport system and reduce costs, improve traveller satisfaction and improve air quality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<p><strong>Health and wellbeing<\/strong>&nbsp;&ndash; Increase the quality of care or the number of individuals that can be monitored, supported, diagnosed or treated outside of medical facilities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<p><strong>Low Carbon Energy<\/strong>&nbsp;&ndash; Accelerate mass uptake of low-carbon energy solutions by the wider population.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<p><strong>Energy Data<\/strong>&nbsp;&ndash; Capture more detailed data relating to energy usage to prioritise energy-saving measures to implement in residential, commercial or industrial buildings, so energy reduction is optimised.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<p>Following the application and selection process, a cohort of 10 SMEs who address these challenges have been selected to join the programme:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\n<div class=\"core-block-section container\" data-aos=\"fade-in\">\n\t\t\t   <div class=\"\">\n<ul><li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.briteyellow.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Briteyellow<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;<\/strong>Smart spaces software and technology company that provides deep indoor location technology that allows people to understand the spaces they are in and place operators to understand how people use them.<\/li><li><strong>Kar-go&nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;<\/strong>Kar-go is a complete self-driving operating system, comprising both hardware and a complete software stack that addresses the challenge of the last-mile of delivery, by removing the high labour costs of delivery and delivering to your location in real-time.<\/li><li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/levelfivesupplies.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Level Five<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Supplies<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;&ndash; Combines cutting edge photonics, advanced AI and edge computing to deliver advanced monitoring and asset management solutions.<\/li><li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/imperiumdrive.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Imperium Drive<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;&ndash; Provides a teleoperation solution that allows a human operator to remotely drive any vehicle using live video and sensor feeds streamed over a cellular wireless network.<\/li><li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/robok.ai\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Robok Ltd<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;<\/strong>a 3D sensing software solution that can run on low-power computing platforms without using GPUs or hardware accelerators.<\/li><li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alcheratechnologies.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Alchera Tech<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;&ndash;
