Ouster has managed to successfully commercialize the first multi-beam flash LiDAR that marries long-range and high-resolution sensing. At just 447g, the OS1 is the lightest high-resolution 3D sensor on the market today. Thanks to its unique approach that sends precision beams only where detectors are looking, Ouster achieves major efficiency gains compared to conventional flash LiDAR products.
The OS1 is the first sensor of its kind, utilising ambient light suppression and integrated custom VCSEL and SPAD arrays to give a sharper 3D picture for a lower bill of materials than any other company on the market. The OS1-128 has a 45° vertical field of view, ideal for minimising blind spots in safety-critical applications like autonomous vehicles, offering 2,621,440 points per second.
In spite of these advanced features, the OS1-128 is one of the most cost-effective high-performance LiDAR sensors on the market.
Ouster strives to continuously improve the performance, feature set, and capability of their product portfolio while maintaining form, fit, function, and backwards compatibility of the hardware and firmware.
A standard two-year warranty and extended cold-weather performance now apply to sensors purchased on and after 1 February 2021.
Rev D sensors will now have an industry-leading two years of warranty. This includes technical support, hardware coverage, and extended cold-weather temperature coverage.
Recently purchased Rev D OS0 and OS1 sensors will automatically support extended cold-weather temperatures down to -40 °C when operating on Firmware v2.0
These benefits will be automatically applied to your Rev D sensors. No action needed from you.
Confirm that you have a Rev D sensor by checking the model number located on the top cap sticker. All Rev D sensors have model numbers ending in “D”. For example, “860-XXXXXX-D”.

Shipping by default is by FedEx and typically takes from one to five working days worldwide. All packages are fully insured from us to you.
Our incoterms are DDP (for UK customers) and DAP (for international customers, including EU). Other incoterms may be available on request in special circumstances.
Goods can also be collected from our logistics centre.
