Meet Our New Supplier: Applus IDIADA
Level Five Supplies is thrilled to announce its partnership with Applus IDIADA as a provider of ADAS and CAV products. A leading international engineering company, Applus IDIADA provides design, testing, engineering and homologation services tailored to the automotive industry. Founded in 1971, the company has over 25 years of history and a global workforce of more than 2,500.
Applus IDIADA’s advanced processing is vital to the ongoing research and development of autonomous vehicle technologies. Fully independent of any vehicle manufacturer, its main office near Barcelona includes a 360-hectare proving ground and test facility complex.

IDAPT Platform Tool
Level Five is an official supplier of IDAPT: a multi-purpose OBU development tool that assists with CAV prototyping. The platform has been developed specifically to answer some challenging questions posed by autonomous vehicles, including dealing with sensor fusion, artificial intelligence and combining those with high levels of data through flow, low latency and ease of use for researchers.
Applus IDIADA is using the platform on the Innovate UK-funded MuCCA autonomous vehicle research project, based at Bruntingthorpe proving ground, and has deployed multiple units to existing customer projects in the UK and at its other engineering facilities around Europe.
